This has been our first project with Keepmoat and we are delighted to see it nearing completion. The development consists of constructing forty apartments for older and vulnerable people. The building is an all masonry build which also consists of a communal laundry, sensory garden and craft studio. All our apprentices have enjoyed working on this scheme also.
Our work on this site began in December 2015 and we are very proud to see the efficiency of our team on this project. We are using the thin joint method, in conjunction with H&H Celcon, to build the houses. This allows speed, accuracy and a clean, neat finish. This method also allows the roof to be fitted on the plots quicker. As of March 1st 2016, just twelve short weeks beginning the project, seven houses have been covered. This is a huge achievement, especially considering as we have had such a wet January and February.
We are very excited to be involved in such a large development at a time when Cardiff is undergoing a huge facelift. Working with Bouygues UK, our site supervisor Mark Langley and our team of operatives are working together to produce an excellent product. The build is a large undertaking which include flats, town houses and retail units.
