Econ Construction Ltd employed SJB Bricklaying Contractors Ltd at the Bryn Pica Anaerobic Digestion Plant, Aberdare to construct the external and internal walls to the facilities area of the reception building. The walls were built from faced block work with many internal returns and service voids where small lintels were used instead of cutting out afterwards. The quality of work was first class, this was commented upon by our client’s senior management on several occasions. The bricklayers worked efficiently ensuring that they kept their workplace clean and safe at all times. With this in mind, Encon would have no hesitation in recommending SJB Bricklaying Contractors Ltd for any bricklaying work.

An extremely high level of skill and craftsmanship was required to construct the intricate front facade of the building which was constructed from Natural Red St. Bees Sandstone which had slender bed joints, varying band widths and lengths and hand crafted options.

SJB Brickwork demonstrated their range of expertise with a finished product that exceeded all expectations, attracting high praise from all our Cliet and their Architect.
